I truly love what I do. It's less a job and more a calling.
Born and raised in the Midwest, I earned both my undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Kansas before completing my Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of the Incarnate Word. From early on in my career, I found my passion working alongside physicians to provide the best possible care for patients, a path that led me to lymphedema care and continued to grow into pelvic floor health and care.
My love for oncology patient care led me to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and I continued to deepen my studies in pelvic health, becoming a Board Certified Pelvic and Women's Health Clinical Specialist, one of approximately 1,000 practicing nationwide, and among the earliest physical therapists to earn the WCS credential. This achievement represents the profession's highest recognized level of clinical specialization in pelvic and women's health physical therapy. I'm also certified through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, holding my PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification).
I believe wholeheartedly in being a lifelong learner so I can bring the most current, compassionate care to my patients. Home for me is the Texas Hill Country, where I'm raising my four children, one son and three daughters. It's my privilege to bring my passion for women's and men's pelvic health to grow Anchor and Heart, and to help bring more specialized care to the community I call home.
