Common Diagnosis:
Pelvic congestion syndrome
Lymphedema (primary or secondary)
Post cancer treatment swelling, including after lymph node removal or radiation
Post surgical swelling, abdominal, pelvic, groin, hip, or lower extremity
Chronic swelling, heaviness, tightness, or “fullness” sensations
Pelvic congestion type symptoms, pelvic heaviness, pressure, aching, swelling
Genital or groin swelling
Venous and lymphatic insufficiency patterns, swelling that worsens with standing or heat
Scar and tissue restrictions that contribute to fluid build up
Lipolymphedema and fluid related tissue tenderness
Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT)
Assessment of swelling patterns, skin and tissue quality, scars, and contributing habits
Gentle lymphatic techniques and soft tissue work as appropriate
Compression guidance and education when indicated
Breathing, mobility, and muscle pump exercises to support drainage
Self management strategies for travel, workouts, and daily routines
